Metro Transit will hold a series of public meetings in February 2026 to go over potential minor service changes to Routes 3, 4, 11, 13 short, 18, 26, and 106 with a proposed major service change to Route 30 that includes a route realignment.

Staff will hold seven (7) meetings available to riders and other members of the community. Two (2) of the meetings will be virtual, one held in English and one held in Spanish. Both virtual meetings will begin with a brief presentation to go through the proposed changes with remaining time being reserved for any questions or comments. The in-person meetings will be held in an open-house format without a formal presentation.

At all of the meetings, members of the public will be able to ask any questions and submit their comments on the proposed changes. Definition of a major service change:

Metro’s current Major Service Change Policy goes into effect when there is an addition and/or elimination of a bus route, a 10% or more addition or reduction in system revenue miles, and/or a 15% or more addition or reduction in revenue miles on any individual route. Revenue miles are the miles when the bus is in service and passengers can be on board.
If any proposed service changes meet or exceed these thresholds, Metro conducts a Title VI service equity analysis to assess for disparate impact based on race and disproportionate burden based on income.
