Metro Transit will provide fare-free rides on all buses, ORBT, and MOBY services on Tuesday, May 12th for the Nebraska Primary Election with Bus to Ballot.

Anyone will be able to board a Metro bus or ORBT without needing to worry about a fare that day. MOBY rides will be free for certified MOBY clients.

A map with a list of Douglas County polling locations and Metro Transit bus routes can be found here.

If you need to find your polling location, go to the Find Your Voting Information tool on the Douglas County Election Commission’s website.

Riders can plan their trip and track their bus using MyRide OMA, available online and as an app through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Roll to the Polls by bike:

Heartland Bike Share, Omaha’s bike share provider, has a Free Rides program for all Omaha residents. It does require an application which takes about two business days to be confirmed. Once approved, you’ll receive a unique promo code to activate on the BCycle app. You can find locations of the docks to pick up or drop off a bike here.
