3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Nearby Bus Routes: 11, 13, 15, 18, 55
Summary of proposed changes:
Route 4
Metro Transit is proposing to extend weekday (Monday through Friday) evening service:
- An additional trip in the early evening to extend 30-minute frequency for an hour in each direction
- An additional late evening trip to extend the service by an hour in each direction
- The last stop at 22nd & Cuming would be at 11:41 p.m. instead of 10:41 p.m.
- MOBY hours would be extended to match bus service
Route 5
Metro Transit is proposing to make minor schedule adjustments, especially on the west end:
- The schedule adjustments would slightly change the arrival times at stops
- These adjustments would allow for more time at both the North Omaha Transit Center and Westroads Transit Center
- Arrival times would better align with Northwest High School’s afternoon dismissal
Route 13
Metro Transit is proposing to extend weekday (Monday through Friday) evening service:
- An additional late evening trip to extend the service by an hour in each direction
- The last stop at 22nd & Cuming would be at 11:18 p.m. instead of 10:18 p.m.
- MOBY hours would be extended to match bus service
Route 15
Metro Transit is proposing to separate Route 15 from Route 55:
- The frequency for Route 15 would stay the same
- 30-minute frequency between Downtown and Aksarben Transit Center
- 60-minute frequency between Aksarben Transit Center and Oakview Mall
- Every other Route 15 bus would head back downtown after arriving at Aksarben Transit Center, instead of turning into Route 55
- If a rider needs to ride Route 55, they would need to transfer from Route 15 to Route 55 at Aksarben Transit Center or before the two routes split at 84th & Center
Route 55
Metro Transit is proposing to separate Route 55 from Route 15 and to increase the frequency from 60-minute to 30-minute during weekday peak hours:
- The proposed 30-minute weekday service would be between the approximate hours of 5:30 – 9 a.m. and 2-6 p.m.
- Route 55 will now turn around at Aksarben Transit Center to head west – click here for a map of the proposed routing
- If a rider needs to ride Route 15, they would need to transfer from Route 55 to Route 15 between 84th & Center and Aksarben Transit Center
