K-12 Student Responsibilities

Safety is every rider’s responsibility – on and off the bus.

For your safety and the safety of other riders and Metro employees, these behaviors are expected:

During your ride

  • Respect Metro employees, including the driver
  • No vaping or smoking any substance
  • No real or fake fighting, horseplay, yelling, or causing a disturbance
  • No guns, firearms, or weapons – real or fake
  • No criminal behavior
  • Do not vandalize – including writing or drawing on Metro property

At Transit Centers / Bus stops

  • Do not cross the street in front of the bus
  • Stay out of the bus lanes and street
  • No guns, firearms, or weapons – real or fake
  • No vaping or smoking any substance
  • No real or fake fighting, horseplay, yelling, or causing a disturbance
  • No loitering or trespassing – take the first available bus you need
  • No criminal behavior
  • Do not vandalize – including writing or drawing on Metro property
  • Respect all Metro employees, including drivers
