The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha, dba Metro requests quotes for HVAC Contract. The anticipated maximum term of this project will be for ONE YEAR or 1000 hours. It is anticipated this project will begin approximately March 24, 2023 or as designated by Metro, and will terminate approximately one year later on March 23, 2024, or when maximum hours have been reached. Metro reserves the right to award to multiple vendors to fulfill the requirements set forth in this project.

Staffing for this project is expected to be qualified, full time technician(s) with proper training and qualifications to carry out diagnostics and repair on Thermo King HVAC affixed to Metros public transit buses. Work will be performed in the main maintenance facility of Metro Transit, located at 2222 Cuming St. Space will be available and open for the technicians. Hand tools, scaffold and ladders will need to be provided by the technicians, major tools such as lifts, hoists, AC charge stations and coolant will be provided by Metro.

There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Submission Conference on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 2:30p.m.. Conference will be held in the Metro Board room and will include a walkthrough of the shop area. If you will be attending, please wear closed toes shoes and bring a high visibility safety vest. Requests for Clarifications, Substitutions or approved equals must be submitted in writing on the forms provided in this solicitation (Exhibit K) no later than March 2, 2023 at 10:00am.

Quotes shall be submitted on the form provided via email to: procurement@ometro.com by 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Metro prefers quotes be submitted electronically. If you are unable to submit via email, please Mail or hand deliver to:
