While Metro is not responsible for lost or stolen items, the buses / vans are checked daily. All non-perishable property found on Metro buses, vans or other Metro property, will be held at Metro for 30 days. Unless “rightfully claimed” within thirty (30) days after being found, said property will be deemed to be abandoned by the owner and will become the property of Metro, to be disposed of as Metro determines to be appropriate. All perishable items are disposed of at the time the items are found. Please call Metro’s Customer Service Department for items left on a bus or MOBY vehicle.
